WRA Plantation - 30,000 trees grown on rocks and stones on barren rocky hillock "Keshar Parvat"

Keshar hillock (Parvat) was a barren rocky hillock since ages. WRA Directors Dr. Jyoti Garg and Dr. Megha Garg purchased this barren rocky land (hillock) of area 25 acre in 2007 and founder director Dr. S.L. Garg made an initiative to plant 50,000 trees here from June 2016. It was a very difficult job as there was no water on the hillock. We have planted 30,000 trees on rocks till April 2021 in the last four to five years. God Siddhi Vinayak and God Buddha statues are there at the hillock. You wish before God and your desire will be fulfilled. We wish to make rocky hillock as a spiritual, healthier, happier, serene, happy place where people can feel the trees, nature and God. Yoga and meditation will also be offered along with different facilities. Research will also be carried out on plants, flowers and leaves so that people may be cured from various diseases. Because of so many trees, biodiversity is also increasing and one can observe various birds and butterflies all over the hillock.

We purchase water every day and try to fulfill the needs of plants by drip irrigation. We do natural farming. Till now, we have planted more than 30, 000 trees of Banyan, Pipal, Mango, Guava, Dragon Fruit, Papaya, Aonla, Teakwood, Shisham, Kachanar, Gulmohar, Khamar, Paras Pipal, Neem, Olive, Bamboo, Mulberries, Apple, Chikoo, Lemon, Vidhara, Dahiman, Putrajiva, Bilva, Banana, Phalsa, Meetha Neem, Custard Apple and so on. We are also growing vegetables like Loki, Gilki, Karela, Bhindi, Tomato, Tinda and so on. There are many flowering plants like Rose, Sunflower, Mary Gold etc. We have also developed Nakshtra Vatika where one will find plants according to 27 Nakshtras. Nakshtra Vatika contains Banyan, Pipal, Neem, Rudraksha, Shami, Arjun, Nagkeshar, Kathal, Jamun etc. Flowers and vegetables are not counted in 30,000.

We wish to plant 50,000 trees on this barren rocky hillock so that we may serve humanity, environment and mother earth. 20,000 trees are more to be planted now in coming 2 to 3 years. Mhow is the military headquarter of Indian Army and all army people come here for training. Mhow was supposed to be very green and full of water in Britishers time and even 30 years after. But with concrete jungles, the situation has changed and Mhow has become very hot now with less greenery.

Our aim is to convert this hillock into a dense forest for better environment and better biodiversity. Everyone is requested to help us in our noble drive by donating as many plants as possible @ Rs. 1000/- per plant for sake of the environment or in memory of family members, friends and relatives. Donations are exempted under 80-G of Income Tax Act. We will research here as well and will also try to cure people suffering from various diseases through plants, flowers and vegetables. We have also constructed five decent bedrooms, one conference hall of 1100 sq. feet cum spiritual and meditation center, one kitchen and one store room so that people may live and feel forest life.

GPS location of Keshar Parvat is: 22°32'07.64"N; 75°41'47.51E. Keshar Parvat is at old Mhow Manpur road (Agra Bombay road) near Jamli village and it is 8 Kms from Mhow.
